A copy of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (DCCRs); Articles of Incorporation; and the By-Laws were provided each homeowner upon purchase of their property. Early homeowners may have been given a single document containing all of these documents. Legally, each member of the homeowners' association is required to adhere to these documents. If the property is rented, the homeowner is responsible for providing a copy of the By-Laws and DCCRs to the tenant and making sure they follow them.
